By reason of its location and its climate, soil and hydrology, Niger State has the capacity to produce most of Nigeria’s stable crops; however, yields have declined over a number of years. This book is not necessarily asking why, but pondering on the future of yields, and what must be done to ensure sustainability of what is the livelihood of the State’s citizenry.
