Several factors can affect the productivity and quality of durum wheat. Of which, absence of high yielding and quality durum wheat varieties is one of the factors contributing for low productivity and quality. In order to develop high yielding varieties with desirable agronomic and quality characteristics, the presence of genetic variability is vital. Genetic variability can be achieved through crossing, mutation and other breeding mechanisms. The purpose of this book is to present the estimated genetic variability and characters association of durum wheat genotypes in Ethiopia.
