In intense hot dry season the animals could be maintained comfortably under asbestos roofed housing system and tree because solar radiation curtailed by 99%. Animal were less comfortable under Agronet roofed housing system because solar radiation curtailed by only 75% resulted into increase in rectal temperature and physiological responses as compared to asbestos roofed housing system and tree but proves better when animals are kept in open housing system. Tying of indigenous sheep under tree during summer season is advocated.
