Kenya is among the top 3 tea Exporters earning about 3,660,000 Us dollars annually. Smallholder tea farmers account for 63% of produce with about 400,000 farmers spread in rural areas of tea growing Zones.It employs thousands directly/indirectly in rural and industrial areas.
