The study aims to provide information for developing a concept for urban green management in Kota Kinabalu Sabah, as well as to judge the ecological sustainability and to describe the importance of urban green area for the public. A focus is placed on the terrestrial and aerial inventory of the natural resources, including trees, landscape and biotopes.
