Furthermore, simulation of the effect of climate change was done and fertigation was considered as an adaptation option. Simulation of the effect of fertigation under climate change revealed that yield losses could be reduced under newly reclaimed soils for both crops when it was used. Furthermore fertigation could be considered as an appropriate irrigation management under climate change.
