Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) is a project of ICAR for testing and transfer of Agricultural technologies to bridge the gap between production and productivity and to increase self employment opportunities among the farming communities. With an objective to study the impact of KVK on fish culture, present study has been carried out in Tapan block in Dakhshin Dinajpur. The KVK has been in operation since large in the area which has been brought under the study. This area being dominated by the farming communities with farming system having fish culture one of the important components for their livelihood.
