This study include the detailed surveying of the trees on most used roads of FRI, New Forest Campus, DehraDun, India i.e. Trevor Road with respect to defects and diseases observed in the trees, categorization of the trees into three hazard categories and suggestive measures for their improvement. 25 parameters were taken for the assessment of 226 trees and according to number of defects and intensity of defects Hazard category was assigned. human activities were found to be the main cause of their defects and regular inspection and suitable preventive and remedial measures were suggested.
