Achieving sustainable food production with chemical fertilizer is no longer feasible because its use destroys soil properties, high cost of purchase and scarcity beyond the reach of the poor resource farmers. Even the use of solid organic fertilizers to correct these anomalies is limited because of bulkiness and difficulty to obtain the required quantities. Further quest to solve the above mentioned challenges led to the development and use of Plant Tea Solution Fertilizers from the bye products of arable and tree crops which are of low cost and less bulky. The new liquid fertilizer solutions are useful for production of tomato, okra, cabbage, cucumber, watermelon, maize, tree crop seedlings, fertilizing fish ponds, pineapple and cassava. The skill analysis of the liquid fertilizer is simple and its duration for preparation is 14 days (26 times/year).
