Farmers are practicing some conventional methods to reduce the corrosive effect of soil salinity. The salinity reclamation related technologies are identified and tested. A single approach like use of Cyanobacteria may be a appropriate tool to address the problem. On the other hand a number of options have to be selected according to soil type, cropping pattern and available resources. It is desired through this dissertation and research work may be addressed for successful crop production under saline conditions.
