The study was conducted during April 2013 to March 2014. The samples were analysed at monthly intervals. Most of the limnological parameters reached their peak during the winter months and were within the optimum range for freshwater semi intensive fish culture practices. It was concluded that the present extensive fish culture practices should be upgraded to semi intensive methods in these water bodies based on recommendations.
