Marginalzed communities in the dry lands parts of tanzania are highly affected by the impacts of climate change and variability. Various policies and acts are stirring conflicts and resources use related problems. Policies guiding the use of such depleting sources of livelihoods are not in favour of dry land people hence more threats to their future which will consequently lead to impoverishment. The government is in favour of investment in these areas without thinking about the fate of these communities even in times of adverse impacts of climate change and variability. This book intends to show how climate change and the detrimental policies continues to affect these minority groups at the same time try to show the best ways of addressing such problems. The recomendations given are imperative due to my experience in the dry land setting.
