Metarhizium guizhouense Strain CQMg135 is a promising entomopathogenic fungus. We genetically modified the M. guizhouense for further commercial developement a new myco insecticide as biocontrol agent to control white grub and other pest insects.But released entomopathogenic fungus how act in the soil and how long recombinant strains can survive under complex environment,it is not clearly known yet. So,for fruitful monitoring of the entomopathogenic fungus action during post inoculation period. We applied ATMT to transform green fluorescent protein(GFP) and enhanced green fluorescent protein(EGFP)genes into M. guizhouense(CQMg135). In two-chambered pot experimental, we also studied persistence and mobility of the genetically engineered strain.
