Genomic library of Prosopis cineraria can be generated from fragmented genomic DNA ligated into a suitable vector i.e. pUC 18 vector. Nevertheless, a set of 503 clones has been generated in the present investigation with desired insert size and may be used as probes to generate RFLPs or to develop SSR merkers after further screening.
