Apart from the biological variations that differentiate the female from the male, there are psycho-social facts of the society that make boundaries for behavior manifestations that are considered appropriate for each sex. These psycho-social pressures would directly and indirectly dictate every sex member of the society to act accordingly. At present, many countries are taking some affirmative action to promote women in different leadership positions. However, women are underrepresented subjects in administration and managerial jobs. Thus, this study is aimed to investigate the existing sex-role stereotypical attitude of employees towards women as leaders and identifying the factors which influence employees’ attitude.
