The impact of climate change are more pronounced in landlocked and mountainous country like Nepal/ managing the adverse climatic impacts so called climatic disaster requires long term research and plan. Disaster like drought, flood and landslide are of great threat to local community living in fragile hills like Siwalik of Nepal. Local community living in such area are using local techniques to cope and adapt with traditional knowledge. Some of the adaptation strategies are well efficient and some are just for doing. Identifying best measures among them can be helpful in future long-term planning.
