The development of civilization has been intimately linked with the ability of human beings to work with materials beginning with the stone-age , copper and bronze followed by the iron age and recently the age of ferrite materials. Immense technological significance of ferrites lies in the fact that these are important magnetic materials of modern electronic industry. Nowadays, ferrites have found applications in every nook and cranny of modern life. In this book, author dealt with synthetic techniques for the synthesis of alkali metal nanoferrites. He carried out structural, magnetic, electrical and Mossbauer study of ferrites. The effect of doping of zinc on structural, magnetic, electrical and Mossbauer properties of rubidium and cesium nano ferrites has also been studied. So this book will be very helpful for those who are working in the field of spinel and ferrimagnetic alkali metal ferrite materials and their applications.
