The main aim of the work was the development of hybrid matrix materials and nano hybrid composites based on industrially valuable polymeric intermediates viz., epoxy resin, functionally terminated siloxane and bismaleimides and their characterized by different methods. As nanostructured hybrid organic–inorganic composites have attracted considerable attention recently, both from the perspectives of fundamental research and their technological applications. The hybrid bismaleimide modified siloxane-epoxy matrix systems were developed using hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (HTPDMS) and Synthesized bismaleimides namely N,N?-bis(maleimido) 4,4?-diphenylmethane, 1,1?-bis(4-maleimido)cyclohexane and 10-phenyl, phenonoxaphosphine-3,8-di (2?-hydroxy-3?-(p-maleimidobenzoyloxy) propyl) ester-10-oxide which were used as chemical modifiers for epoxy resin.
