In the period 2008-2011 held (at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Maribor) the European research project “Development of Science Competences in Natural Sciences”. Just competences - based on didactic materials (for selected programs of secondary vocational, technical and general education) represent the target product of one performed phases of this project. This book presents two examples of didactic materials for the questions arising from teaching and learning practice on the chemical education. Each of both booklets is divided into theoretical and applied part. Specifically defined are topical generic and scientific competences (especially chemical) which the levels of achievements are students’ self-evaluated using various evaluation sheets.
