Various characterization techniques are used to study the formation mechanism of the nanostructures and their optical roperties. The study addresses many basic and advanced issues in the nanomaterials science. Some of the findings give insight into the behavior of different phases in nanodimensional range. Future outlook to the work has also been briefly discussed.
