However, because of its prolific seed production and easy dispersal, it escaped cultivation and become a pest with serious dimensions (i.e. social, ecological and economic concerns)in the country. Is there a difference in spatial distribution, abundance, density and impact of L. camara on different land uses?; What is the perception of local community regarding this invasive weed on the environment? What plant spp.on the study area are affected by the weed? The research investigation will answer those above mentioned questions and recommend further studies or gabs to be done.
