The increased density of population in our cities created a growing need for better utility service facilities. This case is same for Khulna City also. With the growth of population in Khulna Metropolis, the importance of utility facilities is becoming more acute. Some people of planned areas of Khulna city are getting municipals services adequately but most of the people of unplanned areas are not getting necessary municipal services especially water supply, drainage facilities, solid waste management and street lighting facilities.
