The tribals of the studied area have been using these plants from a long time, without knowing their chemical constituents. More studies are required to understand the pharmacology of the plants. Our Ancient System of Medicine, the Ayurveda is primarily based upon the utilization the the plants and other materials of mineral origin. But this system requires some more scientific support to overcome the drawbacks. The present work can therefore be used as a base for future studies.
