Crop production is reported to be greatly decreased throughout the world by soil salinity Excess of NaCl in plants disturbs their morphology, physiology and metabolisms Nearly 10% of the total land surface is seriously affected by salinity Plant growth regulators are well known for their ability to enhance plant growth, germination of seeds and tolerance to environmental stresses Kinetin is also reported to be involved in reducing the drastic effects of salinity on germination and growth of plants.
