Since, the growth performance, thyroid gland activity and immune-response could be improved in progeny by organic Se feeding to parental stock. Therefore, the data obtained from our trial suggest the selenium inclusion more than 1.0 mg/kg, from selenium yeast of maternal quail diets, to improve the physiological, immunological and productive traits of their progeny for several days.
