This study is one of many studies on stipoid grasses organised by International Stipeae Working Group (ISWG). The main aim of this study was to test the subgeneric classification of Austrostipa proposed by Jacobs and Everett (1996). Twenty eight anatomical/morphological characters collected using a scanning electron microscop (SEM) from both adaxial and abaxial surfaces of leaves, and from the lemma epidermis were used. The results support the monophyly of Austrostipa. All anatomical/morphological characters, including SEM images off all species, used in this study, is revealed in this book.
