The present work is an important contribution to the scientific research on acculturation. As a whole, the present study provides a theoretical framework to describe the difference of patterns in sociocultural and psychological adaptation for Latin American international students utilizing Internet media. The knowledge gained from experiences with international students in English-speaking higher education institutions has broad implications for intercultural education.
