Tactile stimulation is effective in conditioning persons with autism spectrum disorder to process this information towards successful integration. Touch is the most developed sensory modality at birth and it contributes to cognitive, brain, and socio-emotional development throughout life. Convenience sampling method was used for the study purpose. The tools used for the data collection are Touch Inventory (Royeen,1985) and Emotional Response Test(Manjula, 2009).
