Educationists the world over have acknowledged that school dropout is one of the most vexing challenges in the provision of education among adolescents. Studies have shown that while school dropout is common in both developed and developing nations, it is most rampant in the developing world. Ironically, though, the problem seems to be least understood in developing countries- not much research has been done to venture into understanding the problem. Zambia has not been spared the effects of school dropout.
