The research revealed that there was a significant influence of treatments (i.e. HIV information and Decision making skills) on the level of HIV awareness as well as on the behavioural intentions of adolescent students towards HIV/AIDS. Based on the findings of this research this recommendation among others was made;Counsellors should be given training on HIV and AIDS and decision making skills so that they can effectively implement curriculum on HIV/AIDS education.
