The research was conducted on modified ARTI model compact biogas plant of 1 m3 digester and 0.75 m3 gasholder in focusing the management of daily average collected biodegradable wastes produced from households. The main objective of the project is biogas generation and analysis the feasibility, working efficiency, health and environmental benefits of modified ARTI compact biogas plant in urban areas. The system will provide an appropriate and most efficient solution to the problem of kitchen waste enabling the recovery of energy from waste.
