This current study is an approach towards the present civil service system in Bangladesh. As Bangladesh is a developing country the civil service is considered as the pioneer of the development. The civil service system in Bangladesh has a long history. This system has some traditional background from the colonial British period and the United Pakistan period. At the present time the civil service system is passing through Bangladesh system. In our current study we have tried to make an overview of our present civil service system. It includes the Public Personnel Management (PPM) and Human Resource Management (HRM) in Bangladesh civil service.
