The CARICOM Single Market and Economy established a single economic space in the Caribbean region within which business and labour operate, in order to stimulate greater productive efficiency, bold investments, increased employment, intra-regional trade and exports. The drive for regional integration has been fraught with challenges; further compounded by the failure to take into consideration the unique and varied needs of the Caribbean postal sector.
