The generalized verdict on the failure of European multiculturalism, for once unambiguous across borders and distinct governmental logics and the political call for the mobilization of society in the defense of the state is the background on which this paper discriminates the terms of a present warlike discourse of the grieved liberal society. The productive discourse of war against an insidious enemy dwelling inside the liberal way-of-life poses at the heart of this crisis the danger of degeneracy of democratic societies and of a new vitality of the pernicious parts spreading further infection with disloyalty to democracy.
