This Handbook focuses on strengthening mining staff capacity in air emission control and adopting best environmental practices to ensure sustainable development of coal mining projects in Vietnam. It is a part of Technical Assistance program funded by ADB to assist EVN and DONRE in building their capacity to manage and mitigate environmental risks associated with the coal mining activities. Emission factor data and factal analysis techniques are utilized for the quantification of mine dust, actual contribution of air pollutants and emission rates of air pollutants.
