This book is a result of an intensive dialogue with literary theories and tries to explore metatextual literature and its discourse. From a theoretical premise, the book aims to investigate the basic signifiers on which metatextual literature is built and functions. Consequently, the subject of this book is the development of Albanian literature at the meta level, or metatextual literature in Albanian, by which we identify the development of forms, methods and critical discourse in Albanian literature. The book highlights the special dimensions created in Albanian metatextual literature in Kosova as a result of the existence of a long tradition and its concentration in theoretical knowledge, from the late '70s until the end of the twentieth century and beyond.
