The book is intended for use by snow researchers. An important topic; high resolution SnowMicroPen is introduced on an elementary level, which enables even relatively unprepared researchers to gain an insight into the subject. The work is motivated by two practical problems: First, the reproduction of snow pack using a point model approach, and second, snow pack validation using unbiased techniques.
