Infectious diseases are a prominent cause of death in developing countries. Inappropriate use of antibiotics consumption has led to increased incidence of antibiotic resistance and various issues like poor treatment outcomes, increased cost, increased mortality and morbidity. For the above given problems so the government of India proposed to introduce the New Antibiotic Policy in 2011, Schedule HX, under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940. The present study is a cross-sectional and observational conducted in a private community pharmacy.
