For forecasting rainfall on the basis of past values, a variety of time series models are available these are referred as Box-Jenkins methodology Box and Jenkins.Chief objectives of this book is many folds as listed as to compare and predict the nature of rainfall in three taluks of Khammam district using various statistical methods; Critically comparing the behavior of rainfall in Sathupally, Vemsoor and Aswaraopet taluks of Khammam district through ANOM’s;To study the Steady State behavior of rainfall in three taluks through Markov Chain.;Predicting the bahaviour of rainfall in three taluks of Khammam district through Moving Average forecasting methods;Estimation of Assured availability of rainfall through Multivariate approach and Distribution free approach of three taluks of Khammam district.
