This includes the development of the notions of semi-uniformity, semi-quasi-uniformity and the study of localization of uniform and quasi-uniform structures in the same setting. Further, various important topological notions such as compactness, totally boundedness and convergence structures have been taken up. The pseudo-metrization problem has also been taken up in the context of these generalized forms of uniform structures.
