Finite difference method is used for approximating the solution to the boundary value problem using finite difference equations to approximate derivatives. The original differential equation is modified at singular point. The fourth order finite difference method is then employed to solve the boundary value problem. This report is concerned with the numerical solutions of singular boundary value problems. Some model problems are solved and numerical results are compared with exact solution
