In today’s globalized economy no country can survive without getting involved in business within and cross borders. So, to make business competitive, Intellectual Property is necessary. Intellectual Property regime is developing in Asia. Nepal is in the midst of a political transaction, and with low level of economic and social development, it has remained behind in the protection and enforcement of IPRs. In spite of being member of WTO and other International IP Instruments, Nepal have an inadequate legal regime. In the absence of proper domestic laws and negotiating skills on the part of the developing countries, Nepal is not able to benefit from favorable provisions inside the IP system.
