The Medicinal plant Sea buckthorn (hippophae sp.) has attained the immense global importance because of its multifold medicinal and nutritional value. In our studies Biochemical analysis has been the ones that determined the main components (vitamins, minerals) of this plant expressing at different growth stages. This active principle provide basic raw material for their medicinal uses and other molecular studies. This plant is the rich source of polysaccharides,phenolic compounds and other secondary metabolites which on one hand are the potential source for drugs but furthermore they make RNA isolation for molecular studies a tedious job.
