The town of Zaria in Kaduna state of Nigeria is not an exception as poultry farms continue to be ravaged by this disease. This research seeks to determine prevalence of Newcastle disease in poultry flocks, evaluate possible risk factors associated with the disease outbreak and its spread in the environment and most of all, suggest preventive and control measures in relation to its risk factors. Because of the simple and practical approach to the prevention and control of ND found in this research, small scale poultry farmers especially in rural areas, will find the information in this book very helpful.
