Every day, the population is surging world over and consequently raising the demand for housing. On the receiving end is farmland as the green fields of crops are turned into concrete jungles. Four components of suburbanisation namely land use patterns, land values, cost of housing and road infrastructure and their influence on the real estate market have been analysed.
