The program highlights placement and decoration of recycling stations, lighting (to guide the festival goers to the recycling stations in the dark), specific tailored messages, and information to volunteers picking up waste on the ground, as key elements to succeed with the intervention program. The theoretical basis of the program is solid. However, it meets some limitations regarding pretesting and measurements.
