Over the last few years, a systematic increase in the prevalence of mental disorders in various groups of population has been observed. The WHO reports that by 2020, mental depression will be the largest cause of disability worldwide. It also says that by 2025, mental illness will catch up with heart disease or may even overtake it as the biggest global health concern. Thus keeping these points in mind, we began our study on effectiveness of Yoga on general and mental health.
