The present study on the knowledge and attitude of antenatal mothers regarding painless delivery is the first one in this area as far as the knowledge of the research. The findings of this study will act as catalyst to carry out more extensive research on larger population. Therefore Indian nurses should take interest in conducting more research regarding painless delivery; this will enable them to have in depth knowledge of painless delivery.
