In India we find high incidence of central obesity. It is well documented risk factor for cardiovascular morbidity. Hypertension being one of them. In our study we tried to explore relationship between various parameters of obesity and blood pressure in males and found positive correlation between waist to hip ratio with blood pressure based on our findings, WHR seems to be a better predictor for risk of hypertension over other obesity parameters.
