The study was undertaken to evaluate the effectiveness of planned teaching programme on growth and development of infants for primipara mothers in a selected rural area.Some primipara mother don’t know about growth and development of infant, mother should know proper growth and development of infant, if children getting stunted growth and development, mother should check monthly weight ,height, gross motor development, so mother should avoid or early should take proper step for deviation of growth and development for improving knowledge of mother we should provide educational programme.
